1. Definitions

  • “Ted Press” refers to Ted Press, the photography and videography business trading as Ted Press.
  • “Client” refers to the individual or organisation who has commissioned and paid for the services provided by Ted Press.
  • “Services” refers to photography and/or videography work provided by Ted Press.
  • “Images” refers to any photographs, videos, or other visual media created by Ted Press.


2. Agreement

By commissioning Ted Press, the Client agrees to these Terms & Conditions. The agreement is strictly between Ted Press and the Client named on the invoice.

No rights or usage permissions are granted to any third party unless otherwise agreed in writing by Ted Press.


3. Copyright

All copyright and intellectual property rights to the Images remain the sole property of Ted Press at all times.

Under UK Copyright Law, the creator (Ted Press) is the first owner of the copyright in the Images.


4. Usage Rights

Upon full payment of the invoice, Ted Press grants the Client a personal or limited commercial licence to use the Images for the agreed purposes (e.g., marketing, social media, website use, or print).

This licence is non-transferable and non-exclusive.

The Client must not:

  • Sell, license, or distribute the Images to any third party.
  • Submit the Images to competitions, publications, or other entities without prior written consent.
  • Alter or edit the Images in a way that misrepresents Ted Press or its brand.


5. Third-Party Use

Any use of the Images by third parties (including vendors, magazines, venues, agencies, or brands) requires prior written permission and the purchase of a commercial licence from Ted Press.

Unauthorised use constitutes copyright infringement and may result in legal action.


6. Credits

Where reasonable, Ted Press requests that credit (“Photography/Videography by Ted Press”) be given alongside the Images when used publicly, particularly online or in print.


7. Payment

Full payment is required before delivery of final Images. Usage rights are not granted until payment has been received in full.


8. Liability

Ted Press takes the utmost care with all work. In the unlikely event of loss or damage to files, Ted Press’s liability is limited to a full refund of the amount paid by the Client for the affected services.


9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
